CBA is a US corporation focused on connecting startup ecosystems around the world. CBA started as an Angel Group focused on cross border investments and has now evolved into building the world's largest startup ecosystem, with its membership-driven model for Angel Groups, VCs, Corporates and Startups. CBA scouts for market validated, co-investment opportunities across 40 global innovation hubs and offers its investors ecosystem comprising of 3000 plus Angels, VCs & Corporates to consider engaging with such startups by investing growth capital and/or market access collaboration.
CBA organizes monthly pitching sessions called Pitch2CBA Screening. It's a series of Global events that provide shortlisted startups access to the CBA network to connect with Global Investors and Corporates. Founders of startups in the area are invited to apply to present and showcase their investment opportunities to CBA during the Pitch2CBA Screening.
The latest edition of Pitch2CBA Screening session is scheduled with our partner in China, Tsinghua Holdings Technology and Innovation Holdings Co., Ltd. (“THTI”) to be at TIPark Silicon Valley. THTI is a science & technology service provider and a science park operator, with technological innovation services as its primary business. It is owned and funded by Tsinghua University, one of China’s biggest educational institutions. Tsinghua University also runs an incubation program through its subsidiary, Tsinghua Holdings, of which more than 10 companies have gone public on domestic and foreign stock exchanges.
CBA along with THTI are jointly calling for applications from high potential startups focused in Blockchain Technologies with application in: Retail and Smart Manufacturing space for which we would provide opportunities for interactions with China focused investors and channel partners that could potentially create a market access for such startups through THTI. We would be providing dedicated 15 minute slots to 5 selected entrepreneurs to present their companies to CBA, and to network with investors and mentors.
