CBA has travelled to Canarian Islands to organize a Pitch2CBA and meet 7 local companies from different industries: market places, mobile app, software, social networks and others.
The event took place during the presentation of a new Angel Network in the Islands, MyAngelTic.
The jury was completed with local government representatives, the director of the local Angel Network (MyAngelTic), director of the innovation cluster of Canarias, an innovation manager, Nestor Rodriguez, who organized the event and pre-selected the companies for Pitch2CBA, and Marta Emerson, CBA director.
The jury decided that the best Company of the Pitc2CBA was Cook in House, a platform to order a chef and a menu to your house, an innovative startup that has already some traction and revenues, and looking for their second round of investment.
During the session, Marta Emerson, gave a master classon "keys to negotiate with a business angel" to over 50 attendees, local entrepreneurs of Canarias islands.
Emerson also met with representatives of the innovation cluster, techpark, university, and government during her visit.
